Let me introduce you to a Texas-born and raised xxxx Toyota Corolla CE. It began its career in Corsicana, was sold and moved to Streetman (I don't know where that is -- just Google it...) and ended its most recent experience in Georgetown. I really know nothing about the first 2 owners but I DO know the most recent owner experienced financial hardship and had their vehicle repossessed. It seems that vehicles that are repossessed have more body damage on average than those just sold outright. Perhaps it's a coincidence, perhaps a mentality -- I really can't say. I CAN say this: this car has a few blemishes you should know about and we have published a report outlining these for you. In spite of these blemishes, this car has found a new life and is a pretty little car. Why should you consider this vehicle? First -- it has a rock-solid reliability record. In April of xxxx, Consumer Reports named it among best-of-the-best for small cars where it and Honda dominated nine categories of reliability. Reviews from Edmunds, KBB and US News and World Report are equally glowing. Second -- it has a 1.8L 4-cylinder which gives great fuel economy. Third -- it has a pleasant interior with cloth seats and a number of comfort factors such as cruise control, power windows, and power door locks. There were a few things we had to do for it to become SimpleCar-worthy. Beyond the typical things we do, we had to replace the left front fender and paint it, touchup a number of paint chips and scrapes (all this is covered in the blemish report) put on new wheel covers and replace the front and rear motor mounts. We also gave the throttle body a good cleaning which corrected a rough idle. Now YOU can enjoy a great car with not very many miles for a Toyota!
