Here is sweet Sophia! We believe she is a shepherd/retriever mix. Sophia's foster Mom describes her as sweet, excitable, loving, energetic and very trainable. She listens to commands and is working on remembering them. She loves to snuggle and will sit with you for long periods of time as long as you stay next to her. She does well on leash walking. She is very young and active and would do well with a young couple who could exercise her often. She would benefit from continued obedience training - plus that is a great bonding experience between a dog an her family. . Sophia loves kids and is housebroken and doing very well on kennel training. She is Heartworm positive but with Heartguard it's not an issue and the slow kill method should work well.
